Your new role
As the Engineering Manager, utilising your leadership skills you will manage a team of multi-skilled engineers and technicians to safely maintain, install and modify plant and equipment to ensure machinery operate safely at maximum efficiency.
You will be responsible for coordinating the installation, maintenance and repair of machinery to suit projected requirements and comply with mechanical and electrical regulation standards. Managing a team of 10, you will be responsible for assessing the training needs of all personnel within the department, manage the allocation of work and will ensure compliance with the company safety policy.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will also drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and lean engineering practices across the business.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Engineering Manager with team leadership skills and experience managing subcontractors. You will have clear communication skills with the ability to delegate tasks and effectively manage a busy workload. Staff management experience is essential for this job.
What you’ll get in return
Working for an established, Scottish employee owned business, you will be paid a salary of circa £40,000, with an attractive pension plan and profit share scheme. You will work 8am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 12pm, Friday.
