Their strategy of think global and act local has allowed the business to truly understand it’s customers and market dynamics, providing the right design solutions to the most demanding automation challenges in production environments the world over.
As part of the sustained growth strategy they are now seeking a new Managing Director to take the baton and grow the business to the next level.
Of course, it wouldn’t be any fun without the challenges.
The business needs someone that can knit together highly skilled teams across multiple international locations. It needs someone that can understand the pains of taking a formerly SME business to a larger entity. It requires someone that can understand a culture and develop it for the better and not just because ‘this is what I did before’. It needs someone that understands what great business process and systems provide.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have an engineering background, preferably with a good understanding of the automotive market (OEM and Tier 1). Your career route may have been engineering, operations or sales, but whichever route it has taken you must understand how each of the functions work together. Experience of managing multiple sites globally would also be a benefit.
