Your new company
You will be joining a UK site, which is an FMCG manufacturing facility for a larger European group. The site has a variety of production lines with a wide range of equipment producing dry and wet goods for sale across the UK and Europe.
Your new role
As part of the Senior Management team in the UK, you will report into a Divisional Manager based in Europe and will take full responsibility for the performance of the manufacturing unit from adherence to the production plan and GMP compliance through to budgetary control, performance improvements and tactical direction. This will be achieved through the direct management of 4 and indirect management of an additional 30+; these are across Production, Maintenance, Health & Safety and Inventory Management. The scope of the role is to drive performance across these areas with a specific focus GMP management, Continuous Improvement, KPI Development and Budget Management.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be educated to degree level, or have equivalent vocational qualifications and possess experience being responsible for the optimal functioning of a factory with respect to safety, quantity, costs and delivery reliability. In addition to the above you will be a strong leader, able to drive results and improvements; whilst developing managers below you. Whilst not essential it is preferred that you have received training to include GMP, NEBOSH, HACCP and various lean tools such as OEE, 5S, Kaizen, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma, SMED, etc.
