Your new company
You will be working for a market leading manufacturing Company who specialise in Just In Time production and due to their success have been consistently growing their team. They are now looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join their senior management team.
Your new role
Deputising in their absence you will report to the Plant Manager responsible for the running of all aspects of production and equipment performance. Your key responsibilities will include; ensuring performance is accurately measured/improved across the production function, supporting new product launches, implement/maintain continuous improvement processes including lean manufacturing and delivering quality metrics with the support of the quality team. This will include; delivering annual profit plans, leading the investigation process on any near-misses/accidents etc, ensuring audit compliance for operational processes and optimising maintenance expenditure.
What you’ll need to succeed
With a demonstrable background in Senior Operations Management within a fast paced manufacturing facility you will have experience in and a strong understanding of continuous improvement, project management and Lean Manufacturing. A background within engineering, 24/7 Manufacturing Operations and JIT environments is beneficial.
What you’ll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary of £60,000 – £70,000 dependant on qualifications and experience. In addition to this you will receive a full benefits package including car or allowance, bonus, pension and medical care.
