Our client is a well known diversified business with a state of the art manufacturing facility based in Leeds.
Your new role
As the Production/Manufacturing Manager you will be tasked with providing high level leadership and development to the production team (Direct reports will include Shift Managers and team leaders with circa 100 staff falling under this umbrella). A key accountability in will be to manage the day to operations of this busy facility whilst continually driving continuous improvements and best practices in Quality. Due to the size and scope of the facility there is a high degree of visibility for this individual and the chance to work with the leadership team on a strategic level. What you’ll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Production/Manufacturing Manager within a busy Manufacturing or precision Engineering business with a proven track record of managing and developing high performing teams. You will be able to demonstrate previous instances of driving a large production team with a strong understanding of lean/six sigma techniques.
