A leading supplier to the aerospace sector is currently recruiting a Quality Director. You will be responsible for defining quality processes and standards across the business on a multisite operation.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the company business strategy and be responsible for leading the Quality functions to drive best in class performance and embed a positive Quality and continuous improvement culture. This includes defining quality processes, standards, specifications, and other technical data necessary to meet manufacturing process requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Establish and drive Quality initiatives across the group
Manage quality function ensuring that customers receive the product to the highest standard of quality possible
Implement new quality processes and systems
Drive continuous improvement throughout the business Help develop the current Quality Management System, update procedures and help train team members where required
Develop improvement and feedback loops within all systems and processes
Drive continuous improvement of quality performance by establishing quality objectives that are monitored, analysed and reviewed
Quality Resource Management and succession planning
The Person
Ideally Degree educated, you will already be a proven senior Quality professional with significant experience of leading Quality teams (multi-site) and working knowledge of NADCAP approval and AS9100 quality standards.
Results driven with an ability to lead and influence team members, including senior management across the organisation you will possess lean 6 sigma skills and a leadership style that is effective at influencing organisational cultural change.
