Working for an innovative manufacturer of electromechanical systems, they are seeking a Senior Programme Manager to manage and deliver programmes to time, budget and quality. Working with internal and external resources to ensure milestones are met.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations / Programme Director, you will manage and deliver programs to plan, on time and in budget. Liaising with both internal and external resources to ensure programme delivery. Developing and managing industrial solutions around facilities and layout, and manage projects to deliver capacity as required at new and existing facilities. Developing industrial engineering solutions including support for factory selection and specification, planning and managing civil works, layouts, resources and equipment requirements.

Managing project risk, identifying risk drivers and potential likelihood of impact, and implement necessary mitigation measures. Managing the project quality within the organisations quality framework, to ensure outcomes meet with company requirements. Ensure you use the company`s reporting framework to ensure all stakeholders receive the appropriate level of information on project status. Management of project costs and put in place cost reduction measures needed to meet plan.

The Person

Degree qualified in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline with a strong understanding of programme management techniques underpinned by a manufacturing, AME or industrial engineering background. You will have project managed complex projects around manufacturing expansion and change and can adapt rapidly to changing priorities and situations, working in a fast paced environment. Ideally you will be experienced with MS Project Server.

The post holder will work with colleagues across all functions and at all job levels, and will work closely with a range of external contacts.
