The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story – created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking x 3 Senior Transformation Advisor to work with manufacturing clients to define financial and operational performance using assessment and mapping tools.
The Role
The Senior Transformation Advisors will deliver the work packages from the transformation roadmap including: manufacturing operational efficiency improvements, business process re-engineering plans to support innovation, defining capability enhancement and coaching/mentoring for the relevant stakeholders. They will support the MTC Technology themes.
The Senior Transformation Advisors will carry out a discovery process using the MTC Technology Transformation Programme (TTP) and using assessment tools, workshops and evaluation of value propositions find and develop effective solutions.
Additionally, the Senior Transformation Advisor will support manufacturing cost reductions, new technology insertions and change management/process re-engineering for the client.
The Person
Applicants for the position of Senior Transformation Advisor will posses a recognised business transformation background particularly within the manufacturing sector as a Change Agent, Management Consultant, Business Analyst/Architect or Process Specialist. A relevant degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Business Management is ideally sought after. Applicants are highly welcomed with completed MBA degrees in addition to excellent communication skill base across all areas of a business including executive/board level stakeholders. A working technical knowledge of lean and six-sigma techniques within demonstrable experience within change management is essential for the position of Senior Transformation Advisor.
Key deliverables for the role include effective use of the discovery process and transformation tools to produce an effective value proposition that can be delivered within a cost and time-effective framework.
