Business Insights drives productivity in ERP

SYSPRO, a global provider of industry-built ERP software, is continuing the drive to enhance their ERP solution and improve the user experience by releasing Business Insights to their customers. This product enhancement gives business owners an optimised visibility across their organisation geared to boost productivity and efficiency by surfacing useful insights.

According to Chief Product Officer, Paulo de Matos, “Business Insights are an intuitive, self-explanatory visual metric of KPIs, representing the information of an individual task or whole business process relevant to an organisational role.” Watch the Facebook “One View Live with Paulo de Matos” video.

“It provides instant insight into the status, condition or health of the KPI or measure, to promote proactive action by the owner, in order to drive improved business behaviour. Insights are summarised and presented simply with the drill down capability of the details attached to the insights.”

“Business Insights form the backbone of role-based Workbenches by providing operators at all organisational levels with “one view” of their world, without needing to move in and out of specific functions. The Workbench represents a user’s role and contains information that a user requires to perform their business function.”

De Matos said by accessing Business Insights, business owners or organisational stream owners, can easily create and action work-to-lists and send to the user’s Workbench.

He concludes that by using Business Insights to quickly surface performance indicators, tracking measurements, exceptions and notifications, users are empowered to meet goals and targets, boosting efficiency and productivity by driving proactive business behaviour across their organisation.
