A global engineering organisation is currently recruiting a Commercial Director. You will be accountable for the strategic management of customer accounts and have previous experience leading commercial activities within aerospace, automotive or a similar industry.
The successful candidate will manage all commercial activates for this leading engineering organisation. Your focus will be to improve market share by developing and implementing an innovate, growth focused commercial strategy.
Lead contract negotiations and finalise contracts
Identify potential opportunities for the company`s products & services, & secure business through those opportunities.
Liaise with the business, to ensure all cost and product changes are passed on to customers where possible.
Ensure that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets
Strengthen business relationships with key customers.
Resolve contractual and commercial issues.
To prepare the company sales budget for management approval.
Management and development of team
Improve customers perception & image of the company.
Assessing the risks of any new commercial opportunities
You will have expert negotiation skills previous experience in a similar role with at least 5 years` experience in a lead commercial position. With excellent leadership skills you must be commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills and have a winning mentality with proven and demonstrable success in bid management.
Candidates will ideally have experience in either the aerospace or automotive sectors, although other sectors will be considered.
