This leading organisation manufactures licensed biopharmaceutical products and has over 300 staff, performing a range of process and analytical development, production, quality control and quality assurance activities. The company also undertakes contract manufacturing and development projects.
Your new role
As Director of Quality you will be responsible for directing and implementing strategies across the business to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal procedures that affect the manufacturing and production of biopharmaceutical products.
In the role of Director of Quality you will be responsible for internal compliance programs associated with the entire life cycle of product development and manufacturing. The Director of Quality will report to the Managing Director and is accountable for management control quality systems including Audit, Management Review, and Escalation to Management to ensure issues are proactive identified and managed, and that all sites are in constant state of inspection readiness by FDA, Health Canada, MHRA and other appropriate international regulatory bodies.
What you’ll need to succeed
As Director of Quality you will be a quality professional from the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive experience and knowledge of aseptic processing, quality systems and regulatory requirements. You will also be able to demonstrate sound corporate and commercial awareness. As the ideal candidate you will have proven leadership qualities including strategic influencing skills, political astuteness, inspiring change, drive for results and collaborative working, with a track record of excellent leadership. As an energetic, lively and passionate individual, It is essential that you are capable of establishing relationships at all levels, and handling high levels of pressure with critical decision making key to being successful in the role of Director of Quality.
