The Role
Our client, a well-established Manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join their site in Coventry. In this role, you will be involved in the following:
• Managing a team of 35 staff (including drivers, office staff and pickers & packers);
• Monitoring the performance of staff, including the setting of daily objectives;
• Receiving goods deliveries;
• Managing all aspects of stock control;
• Stock checks, including checking and resolving discrepancies;
• Logging of materials stored for later distribution;
• Managing and controlling the distribution of deliveries;
• Implementing checks through documentation;
The Candidate
Having at least 4 years of previous experience within a Logistics is essential, as well as the ability to display the following:
• Strong leadership skills with team leading experience;
• IT literate and the ability to use Excel;
• Excellent organisational and communication skills;
• Have proven experience in implementing new processes and procedures;
• Pro-active in nature and the ability to prioritise workload;
• The ability to work independently.
The Package
• Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience;
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30AM to 4PM. Friday 7:30AM – 3PM;
• 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays.
