Your new company
A tier 1 Automotive manufacturing business are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join their rapidly growing business. Within the last 4 year period, they have gown their sales from circa £9m to over £40m with an order book until 2022. Currently with two sites in the UK; and 3 Internationally based facilities.

Your new role
As the Manufacturing Manager, you will be expected to take full accountability for all manufacturing activities. You will be directly responsible for around 10 employees whilst reporting directly into the Site General Manager and working along side the Materials Planning  and Logistics Manager. You will need to take accountability for the continuous improvement of the manufacturing facility, reducing wastage and improving OEE.
Working with the Materials Planning and Logistics Manager, you will be expected to deliver all orders OTIF to the expected quality of this prestigious business. The Manufacturing Manager will also be expected to support HR activities by aiding in the recruitment and training of new employees.

What you’ll need to succeed
Having gained experience within a Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager or something similar, you’ll have the relevant experience for this vacancy. Primarily they are searching for Automotive Manufacturing experience, however they are happy to review applications from Aerospace, Defence and Heavy Engineering businesses.
You must have gained exposure to ISO14001 and quality systems whilst it would be desirable to have a professional qualification in Lean/6 Sigma/ Kanban Techniques.

What you’ll get in return
As the Manufacturing Manager, you will be paid an annual salary of up to £60,000. In addition to this generous salary, you will be given 25 days of annual leave plus the bank holidays, a 5% pension contribution, and highly luxurious working hours (39 hours per week!)
