Known for market leading innovation they are a dynamic organisation that continually strives to bring to the market; high performance, high efficiency, customer-centric and ecologically friendly exterior lighting products with exceptional control capabilities. They are seeking a Procurement Manager, based in Hoddesdon, to ensure they maximise on all opportunities to improve quality and service levels whilst reducing costs by evaluating and managing all supply chain processes including:
• Oversee organisation wide management of the strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting, and evaluation of services
• Review the current supplier base to identify opportunities for cost reduction and identify risk
• Establish key performance indicators and drive performance improvement against set goals
• Develop, manage and negotiate contracts/agreements for the supplier base
The Procurement Manager, ideally CIPS qualified, will have proven experience within a manufacturing environment including:
• Creating contractual agreements with key suppliers
• Leading supplier negotiations
• Developing supplier relationships
• dManaging product life-cycle management
