This global manufacturer based in Norfolk is looking to recruit a Senior Production Manager to join their expanding leadership team.
Your new role
In your new role you will manage a committed Production team with direct reports at Team Leader and Supervisor level. With responsibility for ensuring production targets are met, you will also be charged with: long, mid and short term planning for both Opex and Capex relating to the Production facility, Ensuring the operational compliance for the plant, maintaining a best in class Health & Safety culture and developing and coaching a team to deliver succession planning targets.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have a degree in chemistry or chemical engineering with previous experience in a chemical plant. You will have a thorough understanding of Health and Safety within chemicals and preferably an working knowledge of COMAH environments. Experience in Six Sigma and lean techniques is desirable but not essential.
