A leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of diesel fuel injection test equipment are seeking an experienced Sales Director to be accountable for their sales and distribution strategy, including development of annual sales targets and management of the Sales Development Team and support personnel.
Developing and implementing a targeted sales strategy to maximize sales in all market sectors, customer channels and product types. Develop new strategies, tactics and plans for future growth. Establish sales budget and objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting and exceeding expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products.
Develop global distribution and service capability through effective distributor`s networks to ensure value add to brand and product. Continually managing financial performance – ensuring profit targets and budgets are achieved and margins maintained. Motivating, coaching and nurturing sales team, encouraging a high performance culture.
Ideally qualified to degree level or a relevant professional qualification. You will have detailed knowledge of business processes in the area of Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Logistics and Customer Service. A proven record of delivering exceptional customer experience. Able to work independently and as part of a management team to define and execute business strategy and tactics.
Able to build relationships and influence individuals at all levels of internal and external organisations. Strong analytical skills, problem solver with a pro-active approach. Excellent communication skills.
You will be skilled at selling technical products and have a sound understanding of commercial terms. You will have previous experience of managing teams and an international perspective would be an advantage.
