JPL Flavours to invest £6m in new production facility
JPL Flavours is investing £6m in a new state-of-the-art production facility in Bromborough, as well as a brand refresh as it continues its growth journey. Currently based in Neston in Cheshire, the UK-based flavour manufacturer specialises in creating innovative tastes for the food and beverage industry.
Founded in 2014, the company posted revenue of £8.45m in 2022, with recent growth set to deliver more than £10m in 2023.
The new, larger premises in Bromborough was a decision driven by the need to keep up with increasing demand. The new facility, double the size of the current site in Neston, will play a pivotal role in enabling JPL Flavours to honour its commitment to providing industry-best lead times for both sample delivery and manufacturing.
The Bromborough site will also feature a customer innovations suite, virtual reality and alternate reality suites, substantially increasing the company’s research and development capabilities.
As a result of this expansion, JPL Flavours will be creating additional employment opportunities in the production department.
JPL Flavours founder and managing director, Jake Lavelle, said: “We’re coming up to our 10 year anniversary next year and realised it’s time for a change. The original logo has served us well but as we’re growing so rapidly, I knew it was time for some significant changes. We’ve made some substantial changes this year in terms of our structure and we’ve welcomed a new Operations Director, Marketing Manager, Technical Sales Manager and NPD staff to the team whilst also investing in the growth and development of our existing employees.”
