Rolls-Royce Motor Cars launches 2025 apprenticeship programme

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has opened applications for its 2025 apprenticeship programme. The application window will remain open until March 2 for Level 6 roles and March 30 for Level 2 and 3 roles. Applications can be made online, and open roles are available to view on the Rolls-Royce careers portal.

The Rolls-Royce apprenticeship scheme has been run every year since 2006. It offers successful candidates outstanding training and development opportunities designed to match their preferred learning styles and future career aspirations.

Rolls-Royce is seeking applications from young people with a wide range of prior experience, interests, and educational backgrounds. Most apprenticeships will begin in August 2025.

New apprentices will join over 2,500 people working at the home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood, West Sussex. The site houses both its global headquarters and car manufacturing plant. Earlier this month, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced it was investing more than £300m to expand its manufacturing facility at Goodwood. The extension will create additional space to meet the growing demand for its increasingly complex and high-value bespoke and coachbuild projects.

Mark Adams, director of human resources at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said: “The Rolls-Royce Motor Cars apprenticeship scheme is one of the most respected and prestigious of its kind in the country. We’re looking for young people interested in commercial roles as well as craft and manufacturing, so you don’t need to be a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) to apply – but if you are, this is one of the best places in the world to pursue an interest in engineering and technology. With qualifications available from Level 2 right up to Level 6, we have apprenticeships suitable for everyone, from those leaving school at 16 to those seeking an alternative to a traditional university course.”

The Rolls-Royce selection process begins with completing its online application form and is followed by an introductory video interview, with questions pre-recorded by current apprentices. Successful candidates will be shortlisted for the final assessment centre stage at the end of April 2025, and all applicants will receive detailed feedback on their performance.

Rolls-Royce delivered 5,712 motor cars in 2024, the third-highest annual sales figure on record. The latest £300m+ investment is the single largest injection of capital since the plant opened on 1 January 2003.
