Bentley Motors announces new trainee vacancies for 2026

Bentley Motors has officially welcomed its 2025 early careers cohort of apprentices, industrial placements, and graduates, while at the same time opening 65 vacancies for the 2026 generation of future automotive industry leaders. These positions reaffirm Bentley’s commitment to future talent and the role they play in maintaining Bentley’s position as Britain’s leading luxury car marque.

The 2025 early careers cohort has joined the company at an evolutionary time as Bentley progresses its ambitious Beyond100+ strategy that aims for full electrification of its model line and the completion of its iconic ‘Dream Factory’ in Crewe, all supported by culture, future skills, and development.

Of the 65 new positions available for 2026, 41 one-year industrial placement roles are open now, and 24 three or four-year apprentice roles will be available from February 2026. In a further sign of Bentley’s commitment and talent pipeline development, 10 industrial placements from the 2024/2025 cohort will be returning as graduates next year.

The roles available cover all functions of the business from design to development and manufacturing to marketing. More than half of the apprentice opportunities are focused around rapidly developing areas such as digital software and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Karen Lange, member of the board for people and culture at Bentley Motors, said: “Our early careers programme is key to moulding the future of our company and it is vital that we recruit the necessary developing skills that will push the business forward in such a transformative industry.

“These opportunities are a sign of our continued commitment to emerging talent and we aim to recruit ambitious, diverse people who can drive innovation and are equipped with the passion and future skills that can continue to bring our Beyond100+ strategy to life and redefine luxury in the automotive industry.”

This new wave of talent will also build upon the achievements of the current cohorts’ efforts to prepare for the future of electrification, and the successful individuals will play a key role in the final stages and release of Bentley’s first-ever battery electric vehicle.

Reflecting on his time at Bentley, Will Meredith, part of corporate strategy and transformation, added: “The placement pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way. Professionally, I gained practical experience in strategic analysis, stakeholder engagement, and presenting to senior audiences – all skills that go far beyond what you learn at university.

“I contributed to projects that I never thought I’d be able to, something that would not have been possible without my amazing team. Personally, I developed greater confidence, especially in leading conversations and navigating complex challenges.”
