CCEP Edmonton site celebrates 50th anniversary
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has celebrated the 50th anniversary of its Edmonton manufacturing site – marking five decades of soft drinks production, investment, and community contribution in North London.
Since opening in 1975, the site has grown to become a key part of CCEP’s GB manufacturing network and one of its longest-serving facilities. It now operates seven production lines and is the only CCEP site to produce bag-in-box products to support Great Britain’s hospitality industry.
CCEP has invested £22m in the site since 2019 to upgrade equipment, boost efficiency and futureproof operations. The facility employs around 300 people, including 11 apprentices and graduates, and supports more than 4,000 indirect jobs in manufacturing, transport, agriculture, retail, and small business supply chains.

To mark the milestone, a celebration event brought colleagues and leaders together for the unveiling of a special golden plaque and a look back at Edmonton’s history and achievements, featuring recognition of long-serving team members.
The site’s contribution beyond manufacturing and its ongoing commitment to sustainability were also highlighted, including its work with local organisations, which has led to £42,500 in donations to local charities since 2019.

Katie Hutt, GB manufacturing director at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, said: “Edmonton has always been more than a manufacturing site, it’s a place with real community spirit. So many people have worked here for years, building friendships, passing on knowledge and taking pride in what they do every single day.
“As one of North London’s long-standing local businesses, we’re proud to play a part in the community – creating jobs, supporting local causes and local people.
“That’s what we’re celebrating, not just 50 years of production, but 50 years of people showing up with care and commitment. Looking ahead, it’s the energy and pride of this team that makes me excited for Edmonton’s next chapter.”
