Plans approved for new £100m Wiltshire Farm Foods facility
Wiltshire Farm Foods has secured planning permission for a new £100m food production facility in Trowbridge.
The new facility, known as Kitchen West, will be located on the Canal Road Industrial Estate. It will house a six‑line production plant, with three production lines operating initially and capacity for a further three to be added as demand increases.
The ready meals producer applied in July 2025 to build its new facility, and less than a year later, Wiltshire Council has given the go-ahead for the new development. Construction is expected to commence in summer 2026, with its existing Mill Site kitchens on Canal Road remaining fully operational alongside the new facility.
Wiltshire Farm Foods is part of the Apetito group, whose shareholders will be investing over £100m into the new food production facility.
