Theo James is looking for an Operations Manager who can champion and drive digital change, able to integrate stand-alone manufacturing systems and processes through their knowledge of digitalisation and software. Job Description:

Lead day-to-day manufacturing and operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction
Play a key role in shaping the operational structure and introducing integrated digitalised systems and processes
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, cost control, and process efficiency
Act as a hands-on mentor to production teams, developing talent and boosting team performance
Work closely with leadership and sales to align operations with business growth and profitability goals
Oversee sourcing, purchasing, and inventory, ensuring the right materials are in place at the right time
Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate commercial terms that support long-term success
Monitor stock levels and demand forecasts to maintain a lean and effective supply chain
Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimise supplier performance
Lead cross-functional meetings to align supply chain, production, and commercial priorities
Use operational data to track key metrics, uncover trends, and implement process improvements
Keep systems and procedures compliant with quality and safety standards (e.g. ISO, Health & Safety)
Stay ahead of industry best practices by attending events, training, and customer site visits

Skills & Experience:

5–7 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean systems, and vendor management
Knowledge and experience of digital transformation projects and manufacturing software systems.
Strong commercial and interpersonal skills
Hands-on approach – must be comfortable working closely with the shop floor
Experience with compressed air & gas filtration is a bonus
