Your new role
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the Technical Management and Leadership of all the Engineering Disciplines and will report directly to the Engineering Director. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be managing an overall team inclusive of all Engineering disciplines; Process, Electrical Control and Instrumentation, Mechanical, Piping and Civil, Structural. In total, you will have between 15 direct reports and assume line management activities in your reports, inclusive of utilisation, holidays, expenses and performance reviews.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will either be an experienced Engineering Manager or an experienced Principal Engineer looking to take the step-up. Desirable experience would be in Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, Pharmaceutical or Energy. Good knowledge of all disciplines is desirable. As an experienced Engineer, you will have the ability to work across different disciplines and specialisms. You will be able to show a demonstrable understanding of cross-discipline and department interactions in an engineering contracting or consultancy company.
What you’ll get in return
In return, you will receive an excellent package of between £90,000 and £110,000 including car allowance, & bonus. This is truly a fantastic, once-a-year type of opportunity that rarely comes up within Engineering Consultancy.
