At present we are working alongside a key client of ours who are a leading manufacturing company in their field. They are currently delivering a number of interesting schemes throughout the Central Belt of Scotland. Their projects can range in value from £10m-£80m across the commercial, education, defence, healthcare, leisure and university sectors.
Your new role
Due to business growth and re-structuring our client are now recruiting for an Assistant Production Manager to join their Production department reporting into the Production Manager. You will receive, allocate and distribute project specific work instructions ensuring that site installation programmes are fully met. Assist in organising transport of finished product to site. Ensuring high-quality control standards are met. You will visit external supply chain partners and perform quality & programme audits. You will attend and contribute to regular production meetings and liaise with the design office to ensure work instructions are issued. You will also ensure the necessary materials are available at all times.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be effective in this role, you will have experience of working in a Production/Manufacturing management role and experience of overseeing large teams. You will ideally have lean manufacturing experience and experience in a batch production environment. We are looking for candidates who are committed and someone who is looking for a challenge and drives best practice.
What you’ll get in return
Hours of work are Monday – Thursday 08.45am – 4.15pm and Friday 08.45am – 1pm . This position offers a superb opportunity to join a progressive and committed company. In return, we offer a basic salary of between £40,000 and £50,000 PA DOE, 33 days holiday (including bank hols), Group Pension Scheme and on site parking.
