A specialist high tech solutions provider, serving key players in the Aerospace & Defence markets, is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to provide leadership and direction to the engineering development team.
Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
• Develop and deploy the company’s engineering resources to achieve the Annual Operating Plan and related business objectives
• To embrace and champion a culture of Continuous Improvement
• Provide a safe working environment for all employees and visitors and ensure legislative compliance in terms of health, safety, environment and other associated legislation and regulations
• To positively promote API to all parties; including customers, suppliers, employees, management and investors, local communities and other stakeholders
• Manage both internal and customer funded R&D programmes within budget
• Enhance the technical knowledge and expertise across the business
• Drive technology and New Product Development
• To develop staff through suitable training and by giving them opportunities to gain experience within the work environment
We are looking for the following:
• An experienced Engineering Manager with a strong technical background within RF & Power Electronics
• Have strong project management skills
• Sufficient system engineering experience with knowledge of Digital Signal processing
• Be able to present both internally and externally with gravitas and credibility
• Be able to lead and develop people
• Degree qualified
