Overview
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a financial professional (CIMA, ACCA) to join a profitable, reputable and growing manufacturing business. This role will be part of the leadership team and instrumental in driving the business strategy, growth and improvement in systems and processes.
The company
£10-£15 million turnover business, 100-120 headcount, 30 yrs. plus of trading. They are a manufacturer of products for the industrial and domestic sectors and are part of a multi-national group who operate in 27 countries, and employ over 5000 people.
The Role
Reporting to the MD, this role will have full autonomy over the finance function and will focus on strategic development whilst retaining an involvement in some of the day to day, ensuring that the company and finance team of 4 continue to evolve.
The Successful Candidate
This role is perfect for an individual that wants to demonstrate the flair, commercial acumen and financial management skills through their ambition to take the control and responsibility.
• Proven track record of holding a financial controller / finance manager position in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferable SME.
• CIMA / AAT or equivalent qualification.
• Experience of cost accounting and looking at stock forecasting and control.
• Experience of working at a strategic level and exposure to lean methodology and continuous improvement would be advantageous.
