As Head of Supply Chain, you will have a 360 degree role with 70+ indirect reports through a cascade structure. You will be responsible for overseeing and setting KPI and professional development standards throughout your reports, within Supply Chain departments including Customer Operations, Purchasing and Inventory. You will be responsible for setting and balancing a budgeted spend of up to £3m, an inventory budget of £8m and consignment stock of up to £3m. Both strategic and operational in your scope you will be involved in both the day-to-day running of the UK Supply Chain, and managing strategy moving forwards by driving and encouraging continuous improvement, change management and new product development as well as developing long term plans for Logistics and Distribution, Customer Operations, Purchasing, Pricing and Tenders. As a senior manager within the business, you will develop strong internal stakeholder relationships, attend regular Executive Committee meetings, and report back at Board meetings on all Supply Chain related strategy.
A strong people-manager with a real focus on developing your team, to succeed in this role you will need to be a strategic, operational and focused Supply Chain professional with a broad background and experience in managing at a senior level within a complex and multi-channel business. At B Braun, there are thousands of specific products and components, so it is important that you have an eye for detail, and be used to working within a complex business. You must have significant experience managing large departments with well-rounded Supply Chain experience covering purchasing procedures, customer service, inventory and system development as well as strong distribution experience. Significant experience with SAP is essential, and any experience with a cloud based CRM system would be advantageous.
