Your new company
A major Tier 1 supplier to a global high profile brand based in Liverpool. Due to continued success, the company is looking for a Supply Chain Leader to manage the supply chain and the team.
Your new role
As Group Leader, you will oversee the production operation to ensure that all processes run efficiently and safely. You will conduct risk assessments and reviews, while monitoring available parts for production, delivery sequences to your client, and client call off requirements.You will take responsibility for health and safety of all team members and manage KPIs within production. In this role, you will also provide coaching, training and support to Team Leaders to develop them into successful leaders. You will also deal with any personnel issues, including disciplinary action, grievances, absenteeism etc. You will be the primary contact for all delivery issues and bespoke requirements and you’ll attend meetings with clients in relation to production.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have experience in a similar capacity within the AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY and strong people management skills within a manufacturing environment. You will have a knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF16494 in quality management, and a strong understanding in relevant health & safety legislation. Skills wise, you will have demonstrable customer liaison experience and you will be able to work under pressure and still achieve amazing results. Of course, this role requires flexibility and strong organisation skills.
