Working for an innovative manufacturer of Particle and Molecular Measuring Machines, they are seeking a Programme Manager to define, execute and lead multiple projects or a programme of projects within the business.
The Role
To define, execute and lead multiple projects or a programme of projects within the business; working closely with stakeholders to execute in line with Project Management processes and principals. Providing cross-functional coordination, decision making and leadership to a multidisciplinary team to optimally achieve project goals. Working with management to develop business cases, identify resources and execute programmes to ensure that both strands of the business are ultimately working as one organisation within agreed timescales. Leading the team with direction and vision to deliver new products or business improvements. Developing and managing project financial budgets, and managing project forecasting, and project plans.
The Person
You will have a degree or have equivalent proven Project Management experience and track record. Ideally you will have a recognised PM qualification. Along with 5-10+ years of experience working / leading projects within a commercial business environment. You will have experience with integrating systems and businesses successfully. Proven leadership ability, able to lead, inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
A proven problem solver with excellent customer focus. Able to work to tight project timescales, with the ability to work to financial budgets and build business cases. You will have a demonstrable track record for project forecasting (time and materials)
You must be willing to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
