Your new role
In this position you will assess current Supply Chain processes with a particular focus on the Materials Management and Purchasing functions, optimising both to enable excellent Customer Service with reduced lead times, and reducing costs through effective Supplier Management and formal negotiations.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will know what good looks like, and your CV will clearly demonstrate your ability to drive improvements within a fast moving manufacturing environment. Ideally you will have worked in high value, make-to-order business, where the Bill of Materials for an order will include a mix of standard and non-standard items. You will have clear leadership abilities, and be able to communicate any changes to business process at all levels, to secure engagement to the change process and successful implementation. You will be commercially aware and exposure to fast growing SME’s is an advantage. You will have strong ERP knowledge (Microsoft Navision an advantage but not essential). CIPS Qualification also an advantage.
