Natures Way Foods to expand factory and create new jobs

A West Sussex-based fresh food manufacturer has secured a multi-million pound funding package to complete its factory expansion by 2021 and support its long-term growth strategy.

Natures Way Foods, which supplies fresh, prepared salad and fruit to some of the UK’s leading supermarkets, will use the funding from NatWest and partners Lombard and Royal Bank of Scotland Invoice Finance to finish expanding the factory’s footprint by 2,500 sq. metres.

With work due to finish in spring 2021, Natures Way will spend the next four months adding new wash lines, bagging lines and associated equipment to the additional space to supply increased demand of freshly prepared babyleaf products. The expansion will also mean the recruitment of over 100 new employees.

This investment has solidified our position as UK market leaders in the bagged salad category and our strategic growth plans are on track.”
