Don-Bur delivers new fleet bodies for Holland & Barrett
Commercial vehicle bodywork manufacturer Don-Bur has completed a new batch of 33 bespoke 18-tonne rigid box bodies for Holland & Barrett. This marks the fourth time that the health and wellbeing store has chosen Don-Bur for their fleet renewal programme.
The new fleet includes 31 rigid bodies mounted on the latest-generation Scania P280 high roof sleeper cabs, while an additional two are fitted to Mercedes Atego models.
Built to withstand the demands of a fast-paced caged load environment, these vehicles feature heavy-duty specifications, including colour impregnated GRP panels, reinforced Anchorfix, and powder-coated aluminium extrusions. Each vehicle is equipped with a 1,500kg Dhollandia retractable tail-lift, which includes dual controls on both sides at the rear to accommodate high street loading.

In a unique twist, each of the 33 trucks will be linked to a nominated Holland & Barrett staff member, recognising their hard work or special achievements. These dedicated team members will have the option to have their own name or a nominated name, such as that of a family member, displayed on the sides of the truck cab.
Steve Lovett, national account manager at Don-Bur, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have Holland & Barrett return to us for their fleet renewal, especially with such a unique and personalised aspect to the project. The decision to link each vehicle to a specific team member reflects Holland & Barrett’s commitment to their staff and adds a special touch to this fleet. Moreover, the seven-year interval since their last fleet renewal is a testament to the durability and quality of the vehicles we provide.”
Carl Bohen, transport manager at Holland & Barrett, added: “We’re excited to launch this new fleet, especially with the personal recognition aspect, which adds an extra layer of connection between our team and our operations. Don-Bur has once again delivered vehicles that meet our exacting standards, and we look forward to continuing our partnership.”
