Bentley opens applications for 93 early career roles in 2027

Bentley Motors is creating over 90 early career opportunities as it invests in the skills and expertise needed to support its expanding product portfolio. The move follows the reveal of Torcal, the company’s first fully electric model and fourth model line.

This is an important moment for Bentley as it advances its Beyond100+ strategy and the £350m transformation of its headquarters in Crewe nears completion. These latest opportunities, which include research and development, manufacturing, IT, and sales and marketing positions, reflect the changing expertise and further investment required across Bentley as its products, technologies and operations evolve.

The 2027 programme will offer 93 opportunities, comprising 29 apprenticeships, 15 graduate roles and 49 industrial placements. The breadth of opportunities represents continued investment in early careers with structured programmes that span more than 40 years.

The apprenticeship schemes combine paid work with qualifications up to degree level, while the two-year graduate programme accelerates professional development through hands-on experience. Industrial placements offer university students 12 months of practical experience alongside industry professionals in an area relevant to their studies.

Dr. Karen Lange, member of the board for people and culture at Bentley Motors, said: “The next era of Bentley will be defined as much by our people as by our products and technologies. As Torcal expands our product portfolio and begins a new chapter for Bentley, we need to continue developing the skills and expertise to support that growth. Our early careers programme brings fresh perspectives into the business and gives young talent the opportunity to grow throughout their time with Bentley.”

Successful candidates are empowered to take ownership and make a difference from day one, gaining meaningful experience while building their careers within teams across the business.

Rebecca Scott-Davies, a current graduate who began her career with Bentley through an industrial placement, attributes her progression to how an early careers opportunity can become a foundation for longer-term development within the company: “One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about Bentley is that you’re encouraged to contribute from day one. Whether it’s improving a process, supporting colleagues, or helping shape the early careers experience, your ideas are genuinely listened to. It’s rewarding to see something you’ve identified turn into a real improvement, and that’s given me the confidence to keep challenging myself and making a positive impact wherever I can.”

The opening of early career applications coincides with the recent launch of Bentley’s new careers website, offering prospective talent a closer insight into the people, culture and opportunities available. Through colleague stories and career journeys, this new platform brings to life the breadth of career opportunities available as the company moves at pace into its next chapter.

Industrial placement applications for the 2027 programme opened on 12 October 2026 and close on 23 October 2026, with apprenticeship opportunities following in February 2027.
