Additive International announces 2019 summit speakers
The Additive International summit has announced its speaking roster for this year’s event. The two-day conference held in Nottingham on 10th and 11th July will feature 18 experts in all aspects of additive manufacturing, engineering and materials from top research institutions and industry players from around the world – including Astra Zeneca, Siemens Digital Factory, Marshall Space Flight Centre, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and Imperial College London.
This year’s 14th annual summit delves into a wide range of AM-related topics, methods and new developments from across industries and disciplines. These include the additive manufacturing of glass optics, 3D printing objects all at once using computed axial lithography, vat photopolymerization, embedding sensors and functionality in AM, metallic hardware development for NASA, and motorsport brakes.
Summit chair, Prof Richard Hague, said: “Additive International prides itself on providing a platform to share the latest research, developments and applications in additive manufacturing – as well as to address its challenges. This year’s conference is no exception. We look forward to welcoming new and established voices from across the AM community to share ideas, network and collaborate on ideas to help move technologies and processes forward, and to tackle some of the obstacles the industry faces.”
