Make UK to celebrate manufacturers success at a series of regional dinners
Over the last few years manufacturers have shown how important they are to the economy overall and their communities. Time and time again they have adapted, innovated and demonstrated extraordinary resilience in the face of unprecedented challenges.
Throughout this period they have worked with their highly skilled and talented employees, often providing inspiring stories of how they have helped not just the national effort but, being involved in activities outside their workplace to help others.
Make UK has run its Regional and National Awards programme for over a decade and, during that period, companies have been able to champion their successes, learn from their peers and network up and down their supply chains. By entering the Awards it also gives companies a chance to recognise the contribution of their most valuable asset, their people, in particular their Apprentices who are the lifeblood of our future workforce.
Throughout the Autumn Make UK will be hosting its 2022 Regional Manufacturing Dinners to celebrate the winners of the Regional Awards across 12 categories. These awards recognise innovation, sustainability, employee development and talent retention as well as a number of engineering and business Apprentice categories. Finally, there are awards for companies who have gone the extra mile in contributing to their local community or some other extra work activity as well as the SME Manufacturer of the Year Award.
The winners of all the Regional Awards then go on to compete against their peers in the National Finals which are held at a ceremony in London in January 2023. As the pre-eminent body for manufacturing in the UK, the Make UK Awards are highly prized and recognised.
The Regional Awards are being presented at a series of Regional Dinners this Autumn. They provide the opportunity to celebrate with your employees and network with a wide range of companies. There will also be the chance to hear from inspirational speakers from across the business spectrum. Don’t miss the chance to celebrate the role of manufacturing!
