Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Manager within the logistics sector based at a regional facility in Kent. This Continuous Improvement Manager role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.
As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for implementing critical continuous improvement projects across the company. You will support the business in ensuring that they provide a high-quality and safe service. The business requires consistency of operations and standardisation across its 15+ service depots and contracts. Critical to this will be developing Standard Operating Processes (SOP) based on best practices identified across the business (for e.g things like recycling processes).
In your first few weeks in this Continuous Improvement Manager role, you can expect to:
• Develop Standard Operating Processes based on best practices identified across the business
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and present them for approval to the relevant level of management (depending on time/cost etc)
To apply, you will need a continuous improvement track record, ideally in warehouse, logistics, distributed operations and operational excellence. You will also require:
• Six-sigma or similar training, ideally FTSE 100 company experience known for strong SOPs
