About Our Client
The client is a specialist engineering organisation operating in a regulated defence-related sector. It designs, manufactures and supports complex, mission critical products for long term programmes, working to exacting safety, quality and compliance standards within a secure, customer focused environment.

Job Description
• Holds full P&L accountability for manufacturing operations
• Leads all production, planning, supply chain and site-based functions
• Drives safety, quality, delivery and cost performance across the operation
• Implements manufacturing strategy aligned to wider business objectives
• Oversees continuous improvement, lean initiatives and operational maturity
• Builds strong relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders
• Leads, develops and succession-plans the senior site leadership team
•Ensures compliance with regulatory, contractual and governance requirement

The Successful Applicant
• Senior manufacturing leader from a regulated or safety‑critical sector
• Proven experience leading complex production operations end‑to‑end
• Strong background in operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and performance
• Credible leader able to influence at executive and customer level
• Track record of developing leadership capability and workforce culture
• Comfortable operating in secure, compliance-driven environments
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience in engineering or manufacturing

What’s on Offer
Salary circa £90,000 – £110,000 plus excellent package
