About Our Client
Our client is a large blue-chip food manufacturing business with multiple manufacturing sites throughout the UK.

Job Description
The Head of Manufacturing will be responsible for overseeing 2 manufacturing sites and indirectly managing a 3rd manufacturing site across operations, H&S, quality, environment, customer service, finance, personal development etc. Other responsibilities include: *Maintain and improve the Health and Safety culture across the business

• Fully embrace company culture and promote proactive behaviours
• Develop and implement the manufacturing strategy across the business to incorporate the organisation’s values
• Coach, lead and support individuals to ensure effective performance and continuous personal development
• Promote continuous improvement behaviours and culture across the business

The Successful Applicant
The successful Head of Manufacturing will have a range of the following: *Senior leadership experience managing fast-paced food manufacturing operations

• Ability to embrace change, promote a proactive culture and create an inclusive working environment
• Demonstrated capability across production, health and safety, quality, engineering, procurement & supply chain, customer service and commercial
• Strong project and Capex experience with proven results of delivering the project on time and within budget
• Evidence of proactive cross-business collaboration in order to develop internal supply chains and customer offerings
• A track record of delivering a high performing operation whilst increasing employee engagement and improving the company culture
