This well-established company is committed to evolution and driving operational excellence. They are looking to drive continuous improvement in all areas of the business and as the Head of Manufacturing you will be leading the ongoing operational improvement plan. You will be working closely with the senior leadership team to drive process improvements and embed the business strategy.

Job Description
As the Head of Manufacturing you will be developing improvement initiatives and leading a manufacturing department in ensuring operational best practice is embedded.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a manufacturing/operational department and inspire a high-performing team, providing guidance and mentorship
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives strategies to enhance efficiency, improve processes and improve cost-effectiveness
Create and execute a detailed plan targeting operational performance enhancements in line with customer requirements
Oversee Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People (SQDCP) metrics to drive improvements and ensure compliance
Work cross functionally to align all departments on transformation initiatives
Liaise directly with the board to set and deliver actions and ensure targets are achieved
Lead the development and management of risks and opportunities to achieve business growth to customer plans
Implement robust inventory management practices to minimise stock-outs and excess inventory, while maintaining optimal levels
Establish a strong customer engagement baseline delivery

The Successful Applicant
This is a great opportunity for a Site Operations Manager looking to have more strategic input or a Head of Manufacturing/Operations looking for the chance to drive lasting improvement. The successful applicant will have heavy industry manufacturing experience and the following:

The ability to build and develop high performing teams utilising KPIs and effective measurement tools
