Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development of the People Strategy and supporting People Plan, ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives
• Align HR schemes and solutions with business goals and objectives, ensuring the successful embedding of HR schemes and initiatives
• Provide market and business insights to inform the further development of the People plan
• Ensure alignment with HR solutions provided by HR Shared Services and 3rd parties
• Lead on the delivery of complex HR projects in alignment with the People Plan
• Provide advice and coaching to line management and senior leaders on people-related business matters, aligned to policy, process and legal compliance
The Successful Applicant
• Degree qualified in HR or a relevant subject
• CIPD level 5 or above
• Previous HR business partnering experience
• Previous HR experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
• Experience of working in a unionised business
• Experience of understanding business requirements, translating into appropriate HR solutions and delivering within budget and to an agreed timescale
• Experience of learning and development
• Experience of working in a project-based organisation
• Experience of working within a shared service model
