Your new role
Reporting to the Production Director, you will lead Assembly Operations encompassing approximately 200 people via your Shift and Team Managers. You will motivate and support your Teams to enable successful delivery of KPIs across Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale. You will support planning and budget setting to ensure sufficient resources are available to meet targets, and support change delivery projects as well as managing the required output of the Assembly function.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a high performing manufacturing professional. Experience in Automotive (including ISO/TS 16949) or Aerospace manufacturing is highly desirable, and your CV will include a track record of achievements in a similar position. You will be driven to succeed, and have a clear focus on Quality / Right First Time with strong technical understanding of Production Systems. Collaborative by nature, you will understand how your actions influence others, and enjoy providing positive leadership to achieve demanding objectives. You will enjoy the challenge of Production in an engineering led business, and be able to demonstrate use of Continuous Improvement, and problem-solving methodologies to support outcomes. Experience of SAP (or other recognised ERP) is also an advantage.
