About Our Client
I am working with a market leading manufacturer who is looking to take their business from good to great as they look to grow and build on their current success.
Job Description
• Lead and develop the teams across the department; setting KPIs and stretch objectives to support the team in their delivery
• Support the development of the Team Leaders
• Work alongside other senior manager to support the company culture through the continuous communication of the values and behaviours
• Ensure full operational plans and mitigation plans are in place to react quickly to fluctuating demands, ensuring excellent customer service
• Liaise with Production control to ensure that work is scheduled correctly in the right quanitites at the right time
• Work closely with Demand Planning to ensure two-way quality communication
• Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance to ensure full operational capability and efficiency of all machinery
• Define, implement and lead continuous improvement projects; within the team and cross functionally
The Successful Applicant
• Degree educated (or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Understanding of full end to end Supply Chain
• Working knowledge of CI techniques, Kaizen, Lean, 5S, Six Sigma or similar
