A leading precision engineering manufacturer in North Bristol is now looking to appoint a Production Operations Manager as part of their continued growth strategies. With an extremely busy order book, spanning the next 5 years, this manufacturer will be able to provide stability, longevity and progression routes in the near to mid-future.
Your new role
As the Production Operations Manager, you’ll be reporting to the Head of Operations with total control and responsibility over the manufacturing output of the company. You will be expected to support the team of 60 in achieving the required work orders, developing existing processes and introducing new lean / 6sigma projects to further enhance your ways of working.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this Production Operations Manager position, you must have a strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes, ideally within a heavy engineering, machine shop or OEM environment. Ideally, you’ll hold a professional 6Sigma / Lean qualification, but this won’t be crucial to the success of your application. You must have proven leadership skills and consider yourself a hands-on manager.
What you’ll get in return
In this exciting Production Operations Manager role, you’ll earn a salary of up to £65,000 (dependent upon experience). In addition to this, you’ll also be entitled to a range of company benefits, including a generous bonus scheme.
