Growth sees AP Racing create new jobs

Brake and clutch manufacturer AP Racing is ramping up recruitment as a result of continued commercial growth. Following increasing demand from its OEM and motorsport customers, the Coventry-based manufacturer is looking to fill a number of vacancies across the business.

The need to expand its 200-strong workforce comes just four months after the team led a similar recruitment programme following strong growth during the summer. The current vacancies cover all aspects of the business and all levels of seniority, including design engineers, customer support and programmers.

As part of its latest recruitment drive, AP Racing will also be launching a dedicated careers micro-site. Alongside a list of vacancies, the site will also provide insight into life at AP Racing and a number of the benefits associated with the roles and company.

David Hamblin, managing director at AP Racing, said: “We’ve had a fantastic year, thanks to the continued support of our OEM and motorsport customers. This is total credit to our team, both here and in the US. As we continue to develop our customer relationships and involvement with key motorsport events, we find ourselves in an exciting position to be recruiting for a range of roles to further strengthen the business.

“At AP Racing, we pride ourselves on delivering products and services to the very highest standards. We’re extremely passionate about our work, so it’s important that we not only expand the business but bring in the talented team members of tomorrow with the passion and desire to take us even further forward.”
