The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story – created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Chief Engineer (Rolls-Royce). The purpose of the role is to provide overall management of the technology aspects of projects the sector delivers to meet.
The Role
As Chief Engineer you will be responsible for:
Understanding Rolls-Royce technical problems and how MTC can support their resolutions.
Develop roadmaps to describe how to enhance their clients capability.
Provide technical governance to all aspects of the sectors project portfolio.
Keep up to date with advances in MTC`s capability to promote within the sector.
Contribute to marketing the sectors impact.
Development of the sector and future opportunities.
The Person
The successful candidate for Chief Engineer will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
Qualified to bachelors degree as a minimum.
Previous experience in high level stakeholder management both internally and externally.
Able to perform well in a customer facing role.
Able to understand a broad range of technologies and how they could add value to the industrial sector.
Communicate technical information in a credible way.
