A global leading engineering group supplying complex components to the aerospace, defence and technology sectors has a new vacancy for Commercial Manager. Working with the commercial and senior management team you will coordinate all aspects of business development with both new and existing customers from identifying new opportunities, through to contract negotiation and candidates are sought with a track record of developing long term relationships.
The Role
Identify new revenue streams and business opportunities
Build sustainable relationships with the existing and new customers
Take a lead role with overall responsibility for contracting activities
Respond to customer questions/issues promptly
Assure the timely communication of contract information to appropriate sites and personnel
Administers contractual documents that establish business relationships with customers or subcontractors
Analyse contracts to ensure compliance with Government specifications and regulatory requirement
The Candidate
Excellent personal time management and task prioritization skills
Willingness to travel to meet with customers, attend conferences and promotional shows
Experience providing guidance and coaching to lower-tier employees
Strong customer service experience, establishing and maintaining effective relationships
Strong Microsoft Office suite skills
Requires demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Background in Engineering and/or Manufacturing would be preferred
Strong teamwork, dynamic, pragmatic, proactive, and competitive attitudes are needed.
