Your new role
In this position you will use formal Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques to assess and improve each area of the business. You will interface with each business function and be a key player in the ongoing optimisation of the business, impacting major projects and also problem solving tactically, according to business needs.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be proven in your ability to deliver measurable improvements in service and efficiency across a range of business functions, ideally including operations (eg Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain), but also other commercial and support functions. You will have the ability to challenge the status quo in a collaborative way, seeking the expertise of others regarding current state, and their input into what an optimised future state might be. Initially you will work on projects identified by the existing leadership team, but as your familiarity with the business increases, you will focus your efforts on areas that you identify as being most appropriate. You will be accustomed to interfacing with the IT function to ensure that the ERP system and business processes work in tandem. You will have clear Project Management skills (Prince 2 or similar an advantage but not essential), and be able to influence at all levels within a fast moving and high performing business.
