The Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre is focused on developing, maintaining and building upon the vital skills required by manufacturing graduates, technicians, engineers and managers to deliver the technologies that keep the Great British manufacturing industry globally competitive. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Director of Sales. The purpose of the role is to lead the sales and marketing activities for the AMTC and deliver growth in both Learners trained and Revenue Generated through all means.

The Role

The Director of Sales AMTC will be responsible for:
The creation and implementation of the sales and marketing strategic plan for each individual product and service provided.
Develop and execute effective sales and marketing campaigns for both commercial products and services the Centre offer.
Establish, build and maintain internal and MTC stakeholder relationships identifying sales opportunities.
Creation and delivery of financial performance targets against budget.
Accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace.
Effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations at all levels.
Serving as an Ambassador for the MTC organisation attending industry events, tradeshows and conferences.

The Person

The successful candidate for the Director of Sales AMTC will possess the following attributes:
Previous experience working in a Senior position at strategic level within education and event services.
Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels.
Strong financial acumen and previous experience forecasting sales performance.
Proven ability to drive sales process from plan to close with effective outcomes.
Strong problem solving capabilities to assist in increase of sales performance.
Knowledgeable in digital and social media marketing usage.
Experience developing strategies to sell commercial products and services.
