Based near Blackburn, a global leader in the manufacturing industry. Operating on sites across the world you will play an integral role within the maintenance division. Implementing strategies, overseeing projects and contractors to drive productivity and capacity improvement.
Your new role
To lead, coach and develop the maintenance team. Responsible for all engineering programmes working to industry standards to deliver business strategies and performance targets. You will be in charge of budgeting and capital planning with a remit to ensure stock accuracy in order to meet maintenance policies. Develop and agree the maintenance, revenue and capital programmes for all sites. Provide 24 hour emergency response and communicate professionally with all internal and external customers to deliver site strategy
What you’ll need to succeed
A strong engineering background within a fast paced manufacturing. Proven experience delivering projects with exposure to commercial and contractual management. Previous experience in a management position is essential with good leadership skills and the ability to complete projects from start to finish. Very Health & Safety conscious. Experience with budget control and projections as well as capital planning.
