Engineering Manager Job in Derry/Londonderry with one of the leading containerboard packaging printing companies in the UK and Ireland. Our client works with some of the biggest names in production and manufacturing who consider the quality of their packaging as an extension of their brand and seek to work with the best. Company growth means you too can now work with the best as Diamond Corrugated work exclusively with Hays Engineering to appoint an Engineering Manager presiding over engineering and planned investment in process improvement.
Your new role
Delivering future manufacturing improvements and leading the dedicated maintenance team will be your main remit. As the company invest and expand they need to plan projects and installations and you will preside over this, reporting directly to senior management and directing your multi skilled team to offer engineering support to production colleagues and ensuring the business makes optimum use of its P&M, including management and ownership of KPI’s which drive performance and minimisation of production downtime. You will have autonomy and influence in the future of the company as they value your expertise.

You’ll have strong technical expertise in maintenance and process improvement within manufacturing but also proven ability to lead a team and deliver on their career expectations to keep them engaged and feeling valued.
